Nedrose Cardinal Community, This year, our blood drive is going to look a little different! We are hosting a "virtual blood drive". In other words, Vitalant won't be coming to Nedrose...we will be going to them! Vitalant has designated December 1-11 as Nedrose Week (even though it is a little more than a week). The School Health Council and Student Council would LOVE it if you could find some time to go donate blood. To donate, please use the link below. I will also post a "how to" on signing up. Remember, the sooner you sign up, the more time slots that are available! https://learn.vitalant.org/LP=148?drive_code=H2386&division=MOUNTAIN%26%region=FAR To show our thanks, any donor signing up under our drive link during the December 1st-11th virtual blood drive will be entered into a prize drawing! Attention students: You may be able to donate during school hours! You must meet the following requirements: 1) Be at least 16 2) Have a C or higher in all of your classes 3) Have written permission from your parents to drive 4) Have written permission from the teacher(s) from the class(es) you might miss. Please talk to Mrs. Howard if you are interested in this option!

Happy Holidays with Trees
Looking for some holiday gift ideas? Student Council has a deal for you! We have a few homecoming shirts leftover that we would LOVE to see on our students. The sizes and how many we have available are Youth Small (3), Youth Medium (3), Youth Large (4), Adult Small (5), and Adult Medium (4). If you purchase 1, it will be $10 and any additional shirt after that will be just $5! (For an example, if you purchase 3 shirts, it would only cost $20) This could be a good idea for those wanting to purchase for families on our Giving Tree! Those that email me at mrshoward@nedrose.com first will have first choice.

Hello all, We will be doing the second annual Giving Tree program again at NPS. Last year was such a success we want to try it again. We have sent out information to those who may need a little extra cheer this year to fill out the form for our students. The tree will be set up on Tuesday, November 24th for students, parents, and community members to come in and take. There will only be one location this year do to the restrictions right now with Covid. If you need a tag or have a request for a tag and would like it delivered to the Elementary School we will get it over to you. People may take tags from November 24th through December 14th. Let's all come together for a little holiday cheer this year and help out people in our own community again.

Hello all, Here is an update on music events for 5th - 12 grades. With all the covid restrictions our capacity at social events is down to 50. We can not have a live concert. I apologize about this, but we are still busy working on music for our programs. We will have them recorded and put them up here on the website when we record. I know it is not the same, but it will be still fun to enjoy some holiday music and see the students perform. If you have any questions please email me at mrsschweitzer@nedrose.com

Hey Cardinal Families!!!! Do you have old hats, gloves, snow pants, or coats laying around in a tub or closet? Put them to good use! As the temperatures get colder, our very own cardinal families need a little help fighting the weather. We are looking for donations of any snow gear size 6 and above, especially hats and gloves! You can send them with your child or drop them off at Door #6. We will of course wash all items before using them! Please help us take care of our own!
