Bring your HOCO spirit and come to the jeans painting party tonight in Mrs. Bahm's art room at the high school. $5 per item to be painted (funds go to prom decorating). We have paint, puffy paint, ribbon, lace, fabric, jewels, glue, stencils, etc. Feel free to bring your own items like patches. There's an iron available too. See you tonight!

Message from NDHSAA about State B Girls Golf Meet - Postponed to Tuesday/Wednesday
After much consideration of the weather forecast for Monday, the 2026 NDHSAA Class B Girls Golf Championship has been postponed by one day. The tournament will now be conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE Tuesday, September 29 Tournament start - 10:00 a.m. Driving Range - Regions 1, 2 and 3 - 8:30 - 9:10 a.m. Driving Range - Regions 4, 5 and 6 - 9:10 - 9:50 a.m. Secondary Rules Meeting- 8:30 a.m.

TIME CHANGE -- Due to conflicting schedules with the Nedrose recreational sports, the Color Walk/Run will now be at 1 PM. The juniors will be serving up hot dogs and burgers at noon and student council will be selling Lotus drinks. We will also have a dunk tank, parking lot games, and registration starting at noon! Nedrose Health Council is trying something new this homecoming. Instead of the elementary bike parade, we are inviting ALL student cardinals to participate in a walking PARADE OF CARDINALS. Behind the scenes, each grade level is working on homecoming flags representing their class. At 6:30 before kickoff of the homecoming football game, students will walk a lap around the track with their grade level. This will be much like the opening ceremony of the Olympics. Come dressed the part in your best cardinal spirit gear and cheer on the Nedrose Cardinals!!

Jeans Painting! All students are invited to an evening of cardinal creating in the High School Art Room! Tuesday, September 29th, bring a pair of jeans, pay a small fee of $5/pair, and use the paint and materials provided (or bring some of your own) to create a festive pair of Cardinal Homecoming Jeans. These are fun to wear on spirit days and to the homecoming volleyball and football games! This is a fundraiser for the juniors prom fund! PK-5 students must have an adult helper with them.

The Central Dakota Metropolitan Planning Organization (CDMPO), which is developing a Bike and Pedestrian Plan to guide future investments in active transportation across Minot, Surrey, and Burlington.
The plan will help identify opportunities to improve walking, biking, and the use of small personal mobility devices such as e-bikes and e-scooters, with a focus on safer, more connected routes.
As part of this effort, we’ve created a short community survey to gather feedback on walking, biking, and active transportation needs throughout the region. Survey responses will help inform recommended improvements and priorities in the plan: https://hdr.jotform.com/262074055226048
