Nedrose Public School

Good luck to our Boy's Basketball Team in their regional opener game at 3p.m. Monday at the dome. We would love to show our support for our team. If your student plans to attend the game, please call into the school so that we may excuse them out of class. This will be excused and not count towards them in their attendance. Please call the front office. Good luck boys!!

MagiKix Dance Tryouts are open to MPS, Nedrose, and ORCS students currently in grades 5-7. Tryouts are for the 2026-2027 dance season, but we do meet in the summer.

There will be an informational parent & dancer meeting on Monday, April 27th at 5:30 at Central Middle School in room 101, for those interested in trying out. Attendees should use south door 2 to enter the building.

Actual tryouts are being held Tuesday, May 5th and Thursday, May 7th at Central Middle School starting at 5:30. Students must attend both days of tryouts.

Reminder Baseball practice starts tomorrow at 3:30 at Bishop Ryan in Coach Richter's classroom. Please make sure you are there.

🏀 Congratulations to Derek Heinert on being named to the Class A Boys Basketball All-Region 3 Team!

Derek also reached a huge career milestone Monday vs. Turtle Mountain — surpassing 500 career rebounds and now sitting at 505 total rebounds. What an incredible accomplishment and a testament to his hard work, hustle, and dedication on the court.

Time to order the 2025-2026 Yearbook! Online ordering is open now and envelopes are being sent home soon. Orders are due April 24th.
Books are full color PK-12 books capturing memories from this current school year. Standard books are $25. The book covers can be personalized while online ordering only for an extra $5. Minot North Girls Soccer will be holding our player & parent meeting, open to grade 7-12 on Monday, March 2nd. The meeting will start at 6:30pm, held in the North HS commons area, and go for about 30 minutes. Please use door 40 when entering the school.

Due to illness todays JHBBB game will be combined into one 6 quarter game. The game will start at 4:00pm. Please be aware that if your athlete typically plays in the second game, that it will start earlier than usual due to the shortened format.

The Bishop Ryan–Nedrose baseball parent meeting will be held at Bishop Ryan on Thursday, March 5th at 6:00pm in room 95. Room 95 is located in the new portables on the north side of the school on first ramp and is the furthest door to the west. This is a mandatory meeting for all players and at least 1 parent or guardian. We will cover schedules, expectations, rules, and more. If for any reason you or your son is not able to attend, please let me know and we will figure out an alternative way to get you the info.

Rescheduled JHBBB game at home with Stanley will be Monday, February 23rd 4-5pm.

Nedrose is closely monitoring the current weather conditions. In September of 2021, our board adopted policy (ABAC) allowing our district to distance learn due to inclement weather. In the event that we cancel school tomorrow we will be utilizing this option. Teachers in grades K-5 will post information regarding a virtual day in Bloomz. Students in grades 6-12 are required to get on google classroom, fill out the attendance form, and complete the work. All teachers will have a Zoom session posted in which students are able to chat with teachers and ask questions. If school is cancelled, we will not need to make up this time as these virtual learning days count towards instructional time. Further information will be posted as decisions are made. We ARE currently scheduled for regular school tomorrow.

Time Change: JV-V boys basketball game Friday, February 20th has been moved up to 4:30-6:00pm in Belcourt.

JHBBB game for today has been canceled. Reschedule date is TBA.

Tomorrow's HS Boys basketball games have been rescheduled to Thursday, February 19th at 5:45-7:15pm. Reminder senior night presentation will be at the conclusion of the JV game.

Congratulations to our very own senior Caydence Stehley for being selected for the 2026 ND Academic All-State GOLD team for the Class A Division! Her hard work and dedication to academics placed her as 1 of the 9 gold team students, the highest ranking in the class A division! Congratulations, Caydence!!
