Remember books will be delivered this summer and will be distributed the first week of school. Track meet for tomorrow has been postponed to May 4th.

Prom grand march is being streamed on the "Nedrose Elementary" facebook page at this time.

Please remember that all classes are collecting food for the Lord's Cupboard Food Pantry. Elementary students should bring it to their classroom and 6-12th grade students should bring it to their Cardinal Time.

Nedrose School District is aware of an image that was posted to our Facebook story this morning. This post was inadvertently created and promptly removed when brought to the attention of administration. The views posted were not those of the school district, and we apologize to those who may have been upset by the post. As always, remember to treat others with kindness!

Shout out to the Music Dept students who did a wonderful job at the music and dinner night and those who went to small group contest on Saturday. We had four groups go on Saturday. Three of them receive ones which means an Excellent Performance. The last one was Shelby S. who received a Star meaning Superior Performance! Great job everyone!

We are looking for helpers for our upcoming home track meets. Our JV/JH meet is on April 20th at 10:30am and our varsity meet is on April 27th starting at 2:30pm. All students in grades 6-8 and 10 will be taking the North Dakota State Assessment over the next two weeks. Grades 6 and 7 will test the week of April 12th and grades 8 and 10 will test the week of April 19th. If your child has an extra pair of plug-in headphones they can leave at school during their testing window, that would be great! If not, we will have some available for them. Parents of distance learners will be contacted to arrange a testing time for their children. Thanks for your continued support in helping our students succeed!

Senior pictures reminder: Minot daily news would like to make large posters of all seniors. Free of charge. Please submit a picture to the minot daily so they can create posters. The posters will be displayed in businesses around Minot.

Hey Senior parents! This information was sent home with your students earlier this week, but I thought I'd get it out this way as well so distance learners would get it too. If you would like your senior to have a poster hangin in a business around town (like they did last year), please email a high resolution photo along with the student's name and school to egunderson@minotdailynews.com. They will take submissions through the weekend.

Tired of being at home? Our music department is happy to announce we are having a music and food night. Please come and enjoy some food while the student's perform small group ensemble pieces to you! It is Friday, April 9th. Food starts at 6:30 p.m. and music performances will start at 7:00 p.m. There will be a free will donation to help cover costs!

Remember to get your 2020-2021 yearbook ordered. Online orders have the option of customizing the cover with student's name and icons for activities. Envelope orders can be cash or check returned to your student's teacher. Thank you!

Student Council will be hosting a food drive for the Lord's Cupboard Food Pantry from April 6th-19th. Students should bring items to their elementary classroom teacher or their cardinal time teacher. There will be a prize for the elementary classroom and cardinal time that donate the most items. We would appreciate donations of nonperishable food items or cash donations. We apologize for the short notice, but the student council has put together a dollar hat day tomorrow at both buildings to help support a family in our district who just lost their home to a fire. Bring a dollar, wear a hat!
