Update: Ward County has been in contact with another area school that had the same incident occur yesterday on their playground. They are confident they have identified the vehicle and are investigating further. That is all the information we have been given at the moment. As always, we will stay vigilant on our playgrounds to ensure the safety of all our students. We will continue to update our Nedrose community as we move forward. Thank you.

Nedrose administration was made aware that a vehicle came into the elementary school during recess time and took a picture of a single student. That family was made aware the office situation immediately and the police were called. Administration has been working with law enforcement to identify the person. I have been in constant contact with Ward County Sheriff's office to establish if this person is affiliated with the student. We will continue to work with law enforcement and have an update once the investigation is closed. Recess staff continues to stay vigilant of the students and will continue to do so. Thank you.

Huge shoutout to our student section at last night's volleyball game! I received the following message from the South Prairie AD: I just thought I needed to shoot you a message regarding your student fan group at our volleyball matches last night. They were an energetic, positive, and fun group to host in our building. They did a great job of supporting your girls and added much to the atmosphere of the games. Please congratulate and thank them from South Prairie for being a terrific cheering section and doing it with fun and class! Bryan Kramer, AD South Prairie School

These are the PK-3rd grade dress up days for Homecoming Week. A couple of the days are slightly different than the 4th-12th. We are excited to see some Cardinal Pride!!

4th-12th Grade Homecoming Dress Up Days are here! The Senior Class voted to do an outdoor movie rather than a dance for Saturday. More information will come out about the movie soon. We will schedule a 9-12th grade dance at a later date for those kids that still wanted one.

We will be having a clothing drive (donation) from now until October! This is for the elementary and high school students. Please bring any donations to the high school or elementary office! Thank you!

If you missed out on the online ordering for homecoming shirts, I have some on hand! $15 for tshirts ($18 for 2XL) and $18 for long sleeve ($21 2XL). If you are interested, send an email to mrshoward@nedrose.com.
