Nedrose FBLA is hosting a Book Drive October 19–23 as part of our FBLA Activity Week!
We are collecting new and gently used books for all ages! Donations will help stock our Nedrose teachers' classroom libraries, with additional books benefiting local businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Drop-off locations: Ms. Landro’s classroom or the collection bins near the school's front entrance.
Have books sitting on your shelves that could use a new home? We'd love to put them into the hands of new readers!

Six Nedrose students put their business and technology skills to the test today at the 26th Annual SRT Tech Day at Minot State University!
Students from area schools competed in a variety of business and technology events, and our Cardinals did a great job representing Nedrose!
A big congratulations to the following:
Hannah Beuchler – 2nd Place, Presentation Software
Maycee Boyce – 2nd Place, Business Communications
Zak Hill – 2nd Place, Spreadsheets
Also representing Nedrose were McKenna Lemasters, Quincee Eide, and Brickson Burckhard!
So proud of these students for stepping outside their comfort zones, putting their skills to the test, and taking advantage of this opportunity!

Nedrose Health Council has pledged pumpkins again this year for the Woodland Trail Pumpkin Walk and are promoting this Minot Parks event for families to get out there and walk together. CARVED pumpkins can get dropped off at either school by Thursday, October 8th. The walk is October 9th, 10th, and 11th. Drawing for prizes for participation! Send those selfies to your teacher!
The homecoming dance is just about to begin! Just a few reminders that the dance will be from 8-11. Students in grade 9-12 that didn't get a ticket are still welcome to come! $5 for a single and $8 for a couple. Students that are not from Nedrose needed to be pre-approved with Mr. Schmaltz. Lastly, we will be in the North Gym, so enter through door 12. Let the dancing begin!
Due to a schedule conflict there is no 5th and 6th Girls basketball Thursday. This concludes the girls season, so no practice on Monday. Information about end of season get together will come later.
Please come out before the homecoming game and eat some food before the game.
Remember to come to the PARADE OF CARDINALS before the homecoming football game! We are looking to have each grade level represented. They have been working on their class banners. Cardinals will take a lap and then cheer on the boys! Be ready to walk by 6:30. Cardinals should find their class sign by the Northwest corner of the track by concessions. Bring your best cardinal spirit!!
Color Run Announcement - - Early shirt pickup and waiver signing will be available at the volleyball game tomorrow. We will be set up in the commons from 5:30-7:00 PM. Just a reminder that the run times have shifted. Food, drinks, games, and a dunk tank will be available at noon and the walk/run starts at 1 PM. Didn't register yet? You can still register on Saturday! Limited shirt sizes will be available.

Did you miss out on ordering your homecoming shirts? Good News -- We will be putting in another order! Bad News -- Shirts won't be available until after the homecoming game. Bring your HOCO spirit and come to the jeans painting party tonight in Mrs. Bahm's art room at the high school. $5 per item to be painted (funds go to prom decorating). We have paint, puffy paint, ribbon, lace, fabric, jewels, glue, stencils, etc. Feel free to bring your own items like patches. There's an iron available too. See you tonight!
Homecoming Court Coronation Update - - Our volleyball team is headed to Bottineau tomorrow and need to leave a bit earlier, so we are pushing our coronation time to 2:00 PM.
Message from NDHSAA about State B Girls Golf Meet - Postponed to Tuesday/Wednesday
After much consideration of the weather forecast for Monday, the 2026 NDHSAA Class B Girls Golf Championship has been postponed by one day. The tournament will now be conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday.
