NDSA

To Nedrose Families:

As you all know, as part of our school’s accountability report, students in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10 taken the North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA) in the spring of each school year. Nedrose has made it our mission this year as part of the school board’s ND Be Legendary goal to increase our reading and math scores on the NDSA. We have been diligently working in our classrooms as well as in our interventions to achieve this goal. One thing our students have expressed in our surveys is that this test does not seem meaningful, and therefore, effort to do their best is lacking. In an effort to produce our best results for this testing, we have decided to dedicate Thursday, March 23 and Thursday, March 30 as our schoolwide testing days. Because our high school building will be dedicated to testing, students in grades 9, 11, and 12 will have virtual school days on March 23 and March 30. They are to log into their google classroom for their assignments on that day. All students taking the NDSA will be served breakfast that morning and attend a pep assembly in the gym to get them ready to do their best.

Thursday, March 23 and Thursday, March 30:

  • Students in grades Prek, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 10th are to report to school as normal. Buses will run as normal.
  • Students in grades 9th, 11th, and 12th: You will have virtual days of completing instruction and assignments on google classroom.

We thank you for your willingness to help our school improve and become better every day for our Nedrose Community. Thank you for your continued support.
