Handicapped Services Statement

Public Notice to All Disabled Persons (as defined by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1977) living in the Nedrose Public School District. The NPSD public is hereby notified of the following school district responsibilities under Section 504: Written assurance of nondiscrimination, Designation of a 504 Coordinator (Building Principal), Installation of a Grievance Procedure, Provided notice of nondiscrimination in admission or access to programs and activities, Annual identification of qualified children who are not receiving a public education, Annual notification of persons (and parents) with disabilities (this notice), Procedural Safeguards, Duty to conduct a self-evaluation of school district policies, programs, and practices to make sure discrimination is not occurring.

Public Notice to All Residents living in the Nedrose Public School District: If you or anyone you know is disabled according to the definitions set forth in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1977, and if the disabled person is not receiving a public education, you are asked to submit the name of the disabled person to the Nedrose Public School District by calling 838 5550 or writing to Section 504 Program, Nedrose Public School District, 5705 15th Ave SE, Minot, ND 58701. The NPSD will evaluate, with the assistance of interested persons, including handicapped persons or organizations representing handicapped persons, its current policies and the effects thereof that do not or may not meet the requirements of this part. (34 CFR 104.6 (c.i.))
